Worked Ukraine (WU) Award Rules
The Worked Ukraine (WU) Award is issued by the Ukrainian Amateur Radio League (UARL). It is designed to encourage contacts with stations operating from the various Oblasts (regions) of Ukraine.
Basic Rules
- Objective: Establish contacts with amateur stations in different administrative regions (Oblasts) of Ukraine.
- Points Calculation:
- Each contact with a Ukrainian station counts for 1 point.
- Contacts on different bands or using different modes (CW, Phone, Digital) with the same station count separately.
- Extra points may be awarded for contacting special event stations or stations operating from rare districts.
- Requirements:
- Class III: Requires contacting 15 different Oblasts of Ukraine.
- Class II: Requires contacting 20 different Oblasts of Ukraine.
- Class I: Requires contacting all 24 Oblasts of Ukraine plus Kyiv and Sevastopol.
